A LITTLE ABOUT US

The Tax Club is a student initiative started in 2007 with the objective of being an interactive platform on which students, policymakers and practitioners meet regarding tax matters. It also seeks to establish an awareness of the concept among the youth and by extension create a culture that regards tax as a positive necessity to the growth and stability of the Nigerian nation.
It employs various means to acheive its objectives such as providing internship, organising seminars and conferences.
In its few years of existence the club has come to partner with the Lagos Internal Revenue Service, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, the Federal Internal Revenue Service and a host of other firms and organisations.
The club is a very effective means to get grounded in tax matters and meet people well versed in the subject. Any young person interested in National Development especially through the means of government finance, should be a member of this club.
